If you do not offer the $4 food menu, do not advertise it outside of LA Live to attract customer. Please do not mislead your customer (with your fine priint). Once people noticed the change in the menu, they started to leave. I wonder as so why it was so empty at 6:00 PM. Once you get there, they change the menu, the Happy Hour is only for drinks and NOT for the food. Total false advertisement, they display “Happy Hour” M-W 4:00-8:00PM.
I am very disappointed and I will not go to lucky strike again. what really made it worst was the staff kep giving food to the table behind us, which still had food left over it was supposed to be and end.to the holiday week but it worst. It still persisted and the only way we got any food was when we started stealing food from other tables, they felt bad for us cause they saw what was going on. It was for a group reservation whole placed reserved, felt grate but affer an hour.of.only getting 1batch of fries for 20 of us i got hangry, i asked the staff whats up and all they woukd say was the food is coming out in waves. Horrible service would not recommend this location to anyone Del Amo or Hollywood is much better. They requested a credit card because its the managers policy for all parties to open a tab, we paid in cash for the bill, but they also charged my credit card. Upon arrival they did not have my lanes ready for us to bowl, they denied half of my african american male guest because they did not like how they were dressed (even though they had on dress jeans and collar shirts with no tennis shoes), but they let in a few white guys who clearly looked like they fell out of bed and put no effort into how they were dressed. I reserved lanes and had a party of 30-50 people scheduled to come and party with me on my birthday. I planned a birthday party at the LA Live Lucky Strike. then 5 days later i see a charge for $109.89 on my bank account THAT I DID NOT SIGN FOR!!!!!! only go here if you want to be robbed. i refused to sign and pay for it, then whent to the bar manager and was told that the total drinks bill was not charged to my card since i paid for my two drinks with cash. instead they came back with a bill (109.89) for EVERYONE who ordered a drink. there drink service was even worse!!! i asked for me and my wife to be charged seperatly for the two drinks i ordered. after 45 minutes of this and only one and a half turns we demanded our money back. the lady at the front desk could not get the number of people in our party (12) correct and the scoring screen kept turning off. WORST BOWING ALLEY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO, me and my coworkers went here after having dinner to drink and bowl. There are just so many better places around there!!!!!!
Might as well start somewhere else.ĭo not waste your time, business, money, or event in this place!!! You will waste your time because one of your friends will be told his pants are too baggy or something like that and will not get in, and you will have to move your whole party elsewhere (regardless of your already spent $, reservations, the place is empty, etc.).

The service, doorman, prices (high and unclear), sneaky staff (no one knows what theyre doing or tell you straight what prices are, & you pay more as a result), and dress code take away all that sounds exciting about this place. I know the idea of bowling, music, dj, etc.

I am taking the time to write this review to you so that I make you at least hesitate to go there and give these people your hard earned money for overpriced drinks in a crowded place. Its good to see security here and there, but the only place I have seen more police and security gaurds was at airports. do you like looking at a big (fat) guy with tight clothes? While I am at it, what is with this OPPRESSIVE police force in LA Live? I thought hat there was a riot or something, but it was a normal day for them. They denied him in because they said his clothes were too big. He doesnt look like gangster nor wear excessively big clothes. The worst thing about it was that my friend could not get into the place because he was a big guy. I am giving this 1 star because I went there for a private party and it took them OVER 3 hours to get a lane on a Friday NIGHT.
